Biltema Foundation Donates 10 Million SEK to Save the Children’s Work in Gaza and Ukraine

Save the Children welcomes the donation, and their Swedish Secretary General Åsa Regnér says:
"Biltema Foundation’s support means an enormous amount. Children and families in Gaza and Ukraine have endured several years of war, and the needs are immense. The support comes at a time when aid has been abruptly cut by several governments. Thank you, Biltema!"
What the donation will support:
In Gaza, Save the Children works on treating malnutrition, providing access to clean water, and improving hygiene. They also support families with cash grants and essential household items. Furthermore, Save the Children works to protect children and provide them with the opportunity for education – for a brighter future, despite the difficult circumstances.
In Ukraine, Save the Children provides clean water and safe hygiene solutions to vulnerable people. They also help children affected by the conflict through psychosocial support. Additionally, the support helps to provide shelter, housing repairs, and warm clothing to families who have lost their homes.
Biltema Foundation has made donations to Save the Children and other organizations for many years to support children and families in vulnerable areas. The latest donation will be used to fund Save the Children’s ongoing efforts in the conflict-affected areas, including emergency aid, access to medical care, protection, and education for children.
