Biltema steps into the future with Pay&Collect as the Internet celebrates 50 years!
After the successful launch of their new website in the spring of 2018, and subsequently launching the on-site platform “myBiltema “ earlier this year, Biltema continues to expand and develop their online presence to meet customers’ needs and expectations. 50 years and one day after the very first message was sent from one network to another via the internet, Biltemas´ first organic and intuitive order was placed via their new service - Pay & Collect.
- We are very happy with this softlaunch! We also offer a 48-hour window for pick-up, with the exception of e-bikes and certain products where assembly is requested and might need a longer processing in the shop. We´re going at a determined speed, and aim to have Pay & Collect successfully implemented in all the Nordic shops by the end of Q4 2020, says a confident Daniel Berg, CDO at Biltema.
- The very first order was received in Helsinki on October 30th 08:34 AM, local time (please view email if you want to use your local details), and was the first of currently 100 organic orders in 8 days at this point in time that the shops have completed and delivered out to our customers in the four pilot shops across the Nordic countries, continues Berg.
