What is the difference between computer glasses and reading glasses?
Reading glasses are used when reading books and newspapers. We tend to read at a downward reading angle. Computer glasses are used when sitting in front of a computer screen. Another difference is the distance. The computer screen is usually farther away from your eyes than when you read your book, for example. There is also a difference between the design and function of the glasses.
When should reading glasses be worn?
There may be several signs that you need reading glasses. One sign may be that you have difficulty reading fine print in books, for example. Another sign that you may need reading glasses is that you start moving the book farther away from your eyes than normal in order to read the words. A third sign may be that you squint more when you read.
