FAQs
Is it possible to mount a TV on a plasterboard wall?
Yes, it is fine to mount TV on plasterboard. However, it is recommended that you either attach it to two wall studs, a wall mount with four attachment points, or using expansion screws to ensure it is mounted securely. It can be a little harder to mount a TV on a plasterboard wall since they are more fragile compared to brick or concrete walls.
At what wall height should a TV be mounted?
Position the TV screen a few metres away so it hangs in the middle of your field of view for a comfortable neck posture. Avoid viewing angles where you need to look up at the screen. To find the right height, sit on the couch (or the place from which to watch TV) and adjust the position so that the centre of the screen is at eye level.
Which TV mount should I choose?
The TV mount must fit your screen. Most screens comply with VESA standards, and the screen’s VESA standard is stated on the back of the screen. There will be four holes on the back of the screen for attaching the TV mount. The distance in millimetres between the holes is the screen’s VESA measurement.
