Dress for hiking
When you go hiking, you need comfortable clothes that keep you warm, dry and breathable. Closest to the body, you should wear an undergarment, which keeps you dry and warm.
The second layer is the layer that will keep you warm the most, feel free to use one or more items of clothing here. You can always take something off if you get too hot. The second layer often consists of a fleece jacket or a garment in wool.
The outermost layer that you should wear during the hike is the layer that protects you from wind, water and cold. Always dress accordingly to whatever weather and temperature you will encounter along the hike. The outer layer often consists of a shell jacket, wilderness jacket or rain jacket - and associated wilderness trousers or coveralls. Just remember that it is important that the top layer is ventilating, so that you do not get too hot or cold.
Another incredibly important factor before the hike is of course that you have a pair of comfortable shoes, which are adapted to the terrain where you are going to hike and the weather you will encounter. The right socks are also important, and that is where the climate decides. Do you need something that warms or only helps to keep your feet dry?
